PyMol - Molecular Visualization System originally written in Python by late Warren L. DeLano (he was Yale student). It is open source software now. Schrödinger, LLC compiles and sells ready-to-run binaries for Windows, Mac, and Linux. PyMOL is a trademark of Schrödinger, LLC.

Yale provides free Windows 64 bit distribution maintained for academic community by Christoph Gohlke, Laboratory for Fluorescence Dynamics, University of California, Irvine.

Subscription is free to all Yale community.

PyMol is available in the Yale MyApps virtual desktop service.

SRSC can assist Mac users to build PyMol on Mac OS 10.9 - 11.4. This is a pilot, not fully tested method.
